When we sat down to design the Orion, we felt very strongly that homes shouldn’t be treated like a disposable good. They should be built to move through life with you and meet you where you’re at.
Say you want to order the most affordable base configuration, but might add the splashy roof deck later on; we include structural supports in our framing to make that as simple as possible. We do the same with pre-run wire to support the solar array. Kids moved out? Nearly all the interior walls are non-load bearing, making remodels easier.
We also support aging-in-place with easily swapped ramps instead of entry stairs, and blocking for the installation of grab bars throughout our bathrooms and bedrooms.
